Letters From The Ledge
by: Madison Richards
Set in Manhattan, Letters From The Ledge weaves together three unique stories that begin and end with one young man and one impossibly large God.
Brendan is contemplating suicide high above Madison Avenue. In an adjacent building, a teenaged girl can see him from her window and begins journaling about a boy on a ledge. In yet another building a young professional woman can see them both from her fire escape.
None of them knows they’re being watched each night by the others, but they all have their own story to tell - a story that connects them unexpectedly. All three want to be free. Sometimes freedom must be excavated one handful of dirt at a time...
Three lives.
One young man.
Sometimes, a journey that begins with death
can end with destiny...
Set in Manhattan, Letters From The Ledge weaves together three unique stories that begin and end with one young man and one impossibly large God. The story opens with a troubled teenaged boy contemplating suicide high above Madison Avenue. A teenaged girl can see him from her window in another building and begins praying for him. In yet a third building, a young professional woman can see them both from her fire escape. None of them know they're being watched each night by the others, but they each have their own story to tell - a story that connects them unexpectedly. All three want to be free. Sometimes freedom must be excavated one handful of dirt at a time.
When lives intersect, nothing is certain. When you’re out on the ledge, nothing is sound.
When you least expect it, life leans forward and nothing is the same…
